'When I worked up the road from Liberty’s (London department store) I would occasionally spend a lunchtime browsing around the shop like I was in a museum mainly looking at all the colourful fabric designs. One time, in the 80s, they were selling some Hokusai's Japanese woodblock prints: 100 views of Mt. Fuji Meiji edition date 1877. This picture caught my eye at the time and I purchased it. There is something so appealing about Hokusai prints'. rkw
