Durga statue in the making at the British Museum

Nemai Chandra Paul, master craftsman from Calcutta, creating a detail for image of the Durga at the British Museum. A huge and complex Hindu statue is being made from wood, straw, paint and clay in the Great Court of the British Museum by skilled Bengali craftsmen as part of its new Bengali season.
