Paul Hilder, AVAAZ Campaign Director, talking to the Chinese media about the Dalai-China handshake, an event involving thousands of supporters of peaceful Chinese-Tibetan dialogue. Through three miles of streets, a chain of handshaking from the Dalai Lama at the Royal Albert Hall to the Chinese London Embassy. The Chinese Embassy does not open its door to receive the final handshake of friendship, and a 1.67-million global petition for meaningful dialogue between China and the Dalai Lama is left at the Embassy door steps by Tibetan & Chinese children. This event was organized by AVAAZ, an idea conceived by Rob Bolton. London, UK, 22 May 2008
