Ray Silk from Save Shaker Aamer Campaign
Ray Silk from Save Shaker Aamer Campaign (SSAC) and other campaigners, just out side Downing Street, after handing in an open letter to Prime Minister Gordon Brown just weeks before election day. The letter appeals for the return of Shaker Aamer to his home and family in the UK. Shaker Aamer is the last Londoner detained in the controversial Guantánamo Bay detention camp for over eight years with out charge or trail, a victim of injustice and torturer. Aamer has previously been cleared for release in 2007 but inexplicably he has not been freed. Ray Silk holds a placard that reads: Bring Home Shaker Aamer. London 13th April 2010
