Optical Jazz lens sketches
EXPERIMENTAL SECTION
Personal visual impressions of music and musicians selected from the conceptual photography of Richard Keith Wolff
“Jazz is a universal consciousness and so is Bach” Nigel Kennedy
Editor’s notes:
The speed of music in dry air of 20 °C (68 °F) travels around 343 meters per second (approximately 1,125 ft/s).
To increase speed of hearing music the editor recommends, for the impatient listener, to sit closer to the musicians performing the music (or if listening to recorded or amplified music to sit closer to the speakers).
However for an alternative point of view about speed:
“My favourite speed is stationary” Ivor Cutler
