Cori Crider, Attorney in law, attending the first talk of a tour of the UK presented by Cageprisoners, titled “Two Sides – One Story” that brings those on opposite sides of wire at Guantanamo together for the first time; Moazzam Begg & Jarallah al-Marri, former detainees of Guantanamo join former guard at Guantanamo, Christopher Arendt for a talk chaired by journalist and author Victoria Brittain; on the Seventh Anniversary of the Opening of Guantánamo Bay notorious Detention Camp. Cori Crider represents over forty current and former Guantánamo prisoners. Cori Crider joined Reprieve in 2006, supported by a human rights fellowship from Harvard Law School. She coordinates Reprieve’s efforts to resettle Guantánamo’s asylum seekers—prisoners who face torture or execution if repatriated to their home countries.
