Grilling for sound bites

Grilling for sound bites Sky News reporter Ursula Errington interviewing Maya Evans who is with Brian Haw outside the Royal Courts of Justice, the High Court in the Strand. Maya Evans is appealing, against her conviction for reading out names of soldiers killed in Iraq at central London's Cenotaph, without police permission, under the Serious Organised Crime and Police Act 2005 (SOCPA). Evans will lose her appeal against her convictions, but she refuses to pay the wrongful fine on principle. She is given more time to pay. However she continues to stand her ground and the Court discreetly does not pursue its fine for her act of free speech. Strand, London, UK, 16th November 2006
