Blair & Gaddafi
Demonstration placard shows Colonel Gaddafi with Tony Blair shoulder to shoulder in a displayed print in the lower centre, taken at a time that Blair was befriending the dictator in the preparations for the military invasions of Afghanistan and later Iraq. The placard is displayed at anti- Gaddafi demonstration opposite the Libyan Embassy, demonstrate in solidarity with the peoples uprising against dictatorship in Libya, inspired by the recent revolutions in Tunisia and Egypt. The protest is called for by the British-Libyan Solidarity Campaign and others, to promote freedom, human rights and justice for the Libyan people. London, UK, 17/02/2011
