Charlie Watts (Rolling Stones)

When we arrived in the South London understated basement, a working music rehearsal room, Charlie Watts was drumming away with a Brazilian drummer, and you could see his love of percussion was wider than rock music. Afterwards when Charley Watts spoke with us he came across as down to earth and pretty relaxed.

When asked if it bothered him when the fans screamed (a fad at the time) during the Rolling Stones concerts, shouldn't they be listening to the music! Charley Watts said "No it doesn't bother me, I quite like it when they do".

When talking about the Rolling Stones unusual psychedelic sixth album 'Their Satanic Majesties Request' he said it seemed to be an album that just sort of slipped out.
