The portrait of Boris Johnson was drastically transformed in November 2018 and retitled “Cover Up” when the artist Helen Masacz invited members of the public to deface the portrait by painting over it, on the opening night of an exhibition at the Royal Opera Arcade Gallery. Pall Mall. The painter had become disillusioned with Boris Johnson since originally painting his Portrait.
