Collage

Time tunnel. In the old days this would be called a collage, ‘glued’ bits and pieces i.e. collage from the French word for glued: collé. In this case bits of my various photos, stuck together, almost randomly, however without glue but on the computer, but it’s essentially the same thing. It’s strange how when you put things in different places than you found them, the new context changes the mood and meaning, profoundly. Of course, that’s what the great film directors, artist and writers, have been saying all along, but because a photo is taken as actuality, it feels, somehow, more curious.
